We celebrated our 10th Anniversary on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Everyone had a wonderful time hanging out and enjoying pizza, hot dogs, and ice cream. Present residents, past residents, board members, staff, and supporters shared their stories about what ABRI/Homes for the Brave has meant to them over the last ten years. Big thank yous go out to all of the guys working the ovens and passing out ice cream at the Mister Softee and The Pizza Truck Company trucks. We also want to thank the Bridgeport Elks who let us borrow their incredible grill! The event would not have been a success without all of the staff and volunteers, who dedicated their talents, and the community members, who took time out of their days to attend.
We can’t wait to get started on the next decade of serving Veterans!
