Support FS:FH

The Pfc. Nicholas A. Madaras Home opened in November 2011 with 15 beds for homeless female Veterans and their young children. We are always looking for community support. There are many ways that you can get involved.

SAVE THE DATE! The next Female Soldiers: Forgotten Heroes Coming Home Gala will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012. For more information, click here.

To donate to the Female Soldiers: Forgotten Heroes project, click the “Donate” red banner at the top of this page or send a check made out to Homes for the Brave (please write FS:FH on the memo line) and mail to: ABRI/Homes for the Brave, 655 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604. To keep in simple, download our printable donation form here.

FS:FH Wish List: Download our printable FS:FH Wish List here.

FS:FH Registry: To complete our home for the female Veterans, we created online registries for household and baby items. The registries at Bed Bath & Beyond and Sears are each listed under First Name: Female Soldiers and Last Name: Forgotten Heroes. They are also listed under Joy Kiss.

Spread the Word!: We need the female Veterans in our communities to know FS:FH‘s services are available. Please consider posting our information at businesses, restaurants, libraries, government building, hospitals, colleges, anywhere! Our poster can be downloaded here.

Volunteering: If you are interested in volunteering in some way, please email Amanda at ateti@homesforthebrave.org for more information.
