| Homes for the Brave’s computer learning lab was built with help from the AT&T Pioneers. Residents can use the computers to search for employment and learn new skills. All residents take an eight week class to introduce them to computing technology. |

Read about RD, and moreRD was raised in a single parent household in New Haven, CT and enlisted in the Army when he was eighteen years old. He served in the US Army from 1975 to 1978, when he received an honorable discharge. After leaving the army, RD struggled with alcoholism and drug addiction for many years and was incarcerated for a total of thirteen years.
